Mofro

These guys are just flat awesome. My bro from down on the bayou tipped be off to Mofro. They got funky, southern rock, "front porch soul." They are a strange mix, and something I normally wouldn't listen to, but it just definitely works. I imagine the insanely hot forests and farmland of louisiana or northern florida... cicadas with their incessant buzz, spanish moss flowing in the almost non-existent breeze. your shirt sticking to you in the 99% humidity. ahhh, heaven.

It must be the redneck side of my heritage that just makes me grin from ear to ear when I listen to these guys.
